Robbie Williams' headline show at BST Hyde Park next month will feature a host of special guests, including '90s icon Seal and former Supergrass frontman Gaz Coombes.
Also performing on Saturday 6 July are Happy Mondays offshoot Shaun Ryder's Black Grape, Kate Nash, who's just released her fifth album, 9 Sad Symphonies, and Soft Play, who appeared on the cover of DIY's 2024 festival guide (and, interestingly, Robbie himself features on their smash comeback single, Punk's Dead). Also joining the line-up are newcomers James Smith, Elle, Davina Michelle, Ryan Gibb and Ben Kidston.
The date will be Robbie's UK-only festival date, as he promises audiences a career-spanning setlist including such big hits as “Rock DJ,” “Let Me Entertain You” and “Angels.”
The show also follows the singer's self-titled Netflix series, which gave the world a glimpse into a more personal side of him after more than three decades in the spotlight. To celebrate the documentary's release, DIY sat down with Robbie (and the rest of the cast) last month for a candid discussion about his mental health and his biggest career regrets. You can read the full interview below.
