We are so used to having everything in our pockets that we feel free even with an old flip phone that doesn't have a web browser, Netflix or Genshin Impact. And now people are carrying smart watches as well. But what if you want to make a dumb clock? Here is a dumb clock project by Maso via Hackaday:
This ATtiny85 based watch is an attempt to make the most minimalist (not accurate) watch possible. Building on the previous version's I2C OLED/MCU combination, this upgrade brings the key features of being functional and wearable with minimal fuss.
In its current form, the clock time is set manually with a single touch button just below the display.
The clock is built with the intention of being the foundation for iterating new revisions as easily as possible, so the OLED and ATtiny are socketed, making it easy to flash new firmware or swap out the display.
