BTS' RM releases long-awaited solo album “Right Place, Wrong Person”
On May 24, BTS' RM made a spectacular solo comeback with the release of “Right Place, Wrong Person.” The pre-release track “Come back to me” was released on May 10 along with a conceptual music video. On the same day, RM also unveiled the trippy music video for the title track “LOST!”, which, among other songs, is shocking the K-pop industry with its highly experimental composition.
His second solo album “Right Place, Wrong Person” contains a total of 11 songs, including “Right People,” “Wrong Place,” “Nuts,” “out of love,” “Domodachi (feat. Little Simz),” “? (Interlude),” “Groin,” “Heaven,” “Around the world in a day (feat. Moses Sumney),” “ã… ã… (Credit Roll),” “LOST!”, and “Come back to me.”

ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin has accused ILLIT of copying New Jeans multiple times, which has become a key element of her ongoing power struggle with HYBE, but the accusation currently leveled against her is simply that they “stole” from the Mexican girl group.
Not only does NewJeans' name sound similar to a band called Jeans (JNS), but netizens have unearthed even more similarities. Min Heejin has been accused of creating a similar logo for the group, and there are also significant similarities between the two groups' Y2K-style CDs. From certain poses in their concept photos to their choreography, NewJeans has been accused of “copying” the Mexican girl band that rose to fame in the late '90s.
New Burning Sun scandal documentary re-exposes former BIGBANG member Seungri, Jung Joon-young and other K-pop stars' roles in sexual harassment case
A new documentary has been released by the BBC World Service detailing the infamous Burning Sun scandal that shocked the world in 2019 and led to the conviction of three top K-pop stars.
The documentary revealed how former Big Bang member Seungri instigated prostitution, illegal currency trading, gambling and other nefarious crimes under the roof of the glitzy Burning Sun nightclub in Seoul's Gangnam district, as well as how he exploited 12 women to extract investments from wealthy individuals.
The serial sexual harassment cases of fellow K-pop star Jung Jun-yoon and former FT Island member Choi Jong-hoon were also detailed.
Park Seo-joon rumored to be dating Marvel's Legion actress Lauren Tsai
In other news, Park Seo Joon, who was reported to be dating YouTuber Xooos last year, has been embroiled in new dating rumours with American actress Lauren Tsai.
The incident began after reports said the pair were spotted having a cozy dinner together in Japan, but in response to the reports, his agency said they could not confirm anything as the matter concerns the “Fight for My Way” actor's private life.

Along with many international celebrities, Korean stars also appeared on the red carpet at this year's Cannes Film Festival. On the sixth day of the prestigious event, Girls' Generation member Yuna walked the red carpet for Horizon: An American Saga.
Han So Hee also attended the screening of the American film, gracing the prestigious red carpet in an all-white outfit that shone under the numerous cameras and flashes.
Meanwhile, actor Jung Hae-in attended the Cannes Film Festival debut of his upcoming film “I, the Executioner.”
Release date confirmed for drama “Genie's Kitchen 2” starring Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-sik, and Lee Seok-jin
This week, the premiere date for the upcoming second season of Lee Seo-jin's cooking show “Genie's Kitchen” (Korean translation: Seo-jins) was set for June 28. Park Seo-joon, Jung Yu-mi, Choi Woo-sik, and Go Min-si will also appear in the lead roles in the upcoming season of this popular variety show.
