Artificial intelligence and data-driven decision-making are playing a central role in the corporate world, and the need for intelligent data infrastructure is increasing to meet these growing demands.
As a result, NetApp Inc. integrated data storage, which incorporates AI principles to provide a single operating environment. This allows management of any data type, whether structured or unstructured. Gabby Boko (Photo), Chief Marketing Officer, NetApp.
“We're redefining unified, not just a protocol, but how we integrate,” she said. “Integration goes far beyond any data, any workload, any location. We have the same principles in how we address AI. We're redefining intelligence as a new unified storage, and at the heart of it is data. When you think of these three things together, you get an intelligent data infrastructure. You can.”
Boko spoke with theCUBE rebecca knight and Rob Strechay in NetApp unveils unified data storage built for the AI era at event, broadcast exclusively on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media's live streaming studio. They discussed the need for intelligent data infrastructure as AI and data continue to be a force to be reckoned with. (*Disclosure below.)
Intelligent data infrastructure as a next-generation solution
As companies feel pressure to innovate with AI and implement data-related initiatives, NetApp present According to Boko, it provides intelligent data infrastructure solutions from top to bottom. This is because the data infrastructure becomes more seamless and dynamic.
“We thought about our data infrastructure. We knew it could evolve with us and with the needs of our customers,” she said. “We really think that data infrastructure is, so to speak, the foundation of what we want to strive for for our customers. It's almost like a sacred cow. Data infrastructure, especially NetApp's Intelligent Data Infrastructure is a new product, so we're excited about the future.”
As AI becomes a top priority for enterprises, NetApp has integrated this cutting-edge innovation into its network for better outcomes. Boko said NetApp is expanding its reach to include generative AI in data management.
“NetApp has actually been working on AI for quite some time,” she said. “We built AI into many of the tools in BlueXP, which is a great control plane for monitoring ransomware. Some of our cloud operations solutions allow us to optimize flows between cloud operations solutions. We are excited about the opportunities that gen AI brings to the workloads of our customers who are considering how to manage their data management.”
