Indian-origin CEO Shreya Patal advised Indian students who wish to study at foreign universities to choose universities with fewer Indian students. In her post on her X, she said there was a “toxic pattern” in the large community of students from India.
“Indian students who are planning to move abroad for higher education should check how many Indian students there are in that university. should be low on the admissions list,” Putter wrote to X.
She said Indian students were unprofessional and caused “too much drama.”
“The large Indian student community lacks a ‘homely’ feel. It comes with toxic Indian patterns: too much drama, lack of professionalism, lack of good role models, lack of leadership and responsibility for juniors, self-centered behavior, “collectivism”, backbiting, and seriousness about the future. “Lack of sanity,'' she added. .
Patal also advised students to stay away from “that” mindset. “If you are planning to move abroad, try to stay away from such ideas, attitudes and character of people as well. You don't need such people around you in order to 'feel at home'” . If so, it may be better not to move abroad,” she concluded.
