A woman has revealed how she transformed her front door using £10 she bought on Amazon.
Gemma Leigh revealed she had been wanting to try out the DIY venture for a long time and said: “I am so happy with the result.
Gemma shared an image of the previous doorway on the official DIY On A Budget Facebook page, revealing that the front of the house was painted a plain dark red.
Determined to jazz up the area, she painted the exterior walls using Plymouth Gray Sandtex paint.
Next, the DIY guru bought a patterned stencil on Amazon. This can be purchased for around £10.
She placed the stencil on her doorstep and used black acrylic paint to paint an intricate floral pattern.
To seal the paint, she used Ronseal, an indoor/outdoor sealer.
“If you're thinking of stenciling, go for it,” she said.
To further liven up the area, Gemma placed a heart-shaped wreath on the door and placed an adorable dog-shaped planter on the front porch.
She also placed two potted trees on either side of the entryway, giving the space an elegant feel.
Gemma's DIY transformation seems to have impressed many, with her post receiving over 3,000 likes and hundreds of comments.
