AIHA Connect 2024: Innovation and Education Hub
The next event in Columbus, Ohio is gearing up to feature a lively exhibit hall and comprehensive educational conference for industrial hygiene and worker health and safety professionals.
The American Industrial Hygiene Association's upcoming AIHA Connect event will be held May 20-22 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, and will combine a dynamic trade show with an extensive conference program. We aim to be an event that responds to a wide range of industrial hygiene interests and educational needs.
Expo highlights
The expo floor should be a hub of innovation and networking opportunities with access to over 150 exhibitor booths. In particular, the exhibitor pavilion, with its teal-colored carpet, will feature first-time exhibitors offering innovative products and services.
The event's Innovation Station will feature presentations on the latest equipment and technology, while the PPE Fashion Show promises to spotlight cutting-edge safety solutions tailored to workforce diversity and protection.
The newly added Nexus Lounge provides a dedicated space for students and early career professionals to connect and recharge. In addition to this, attendees can utilize the collaboration areas to network and enjoy food in the food and beverage area. You can also make the most of your time at the show with new Dine and Dash options available for pre-purchase.
conference insights
At the heart of AIHA Connect are educational sessions. 170 sessions across 34 topics will be delivered by 360 speakers and are designed to expand your knowledge and skills in industrial hygiene, occupational and environmental health and safety. Topics range from core IH/OEHS issues to sessions aimed at improving people skills such as leadership and communication.
With up to 17 hours of certification maintenance time available, participants have ample opportunity to prepare for CIH recertification and stay at the forefront of industry standards and practices. Participants can also benefit from an AIHA educational transcript. This will provide proof of participation and post-event updates reflecting contact hours for both in-person and virtual participants.
For those who cannot attend all sessions or are looking for flexible learning options, AIHA Connect OnDemand provides recordings of most sessions included with full enrollment for later viewing.
