Alexis Geissler, queen of crafts and owner of Craftworx, returns to Houston Life Studio with three Mother's Day gifts that are easy for little ones to make.
(1) Photo coaster
Things necessary –

4×4 white tiles
-
Dishwasher safe/waterproof Mod Podge
-
paintbrush
-
felt scissors
-
photograph
How can I do that –
-
Find a photo to attach to your coaster and size it to fit your 4×4 tile.

Print the photo and crop it to fit the photo border.

Clean the tile and apply a thin layer of Mod Podge over it.

Place the photo on the tile and press it evenly, paying particular attention to the corners.

Let dry, then cover the photo with a thin layer of Mod Podge and set the photo.

Cut a piece of felt to fit the bottom of the coaster (you can also use furniture felt, etc.) to protect the surface from rough bottoms.

Once the coaster is dry, glue the felt to the bottom.

(2) Photo key chain
Things necessary –

Bevel to place the photo

keychain hardware
-
photograph
-
scissors
-
Tassel (optional)
How can I do that –

Find the photo you want to put on your keychain and size it to fit inside the bevel.

Print the photo and crop it to fit the photo border.

Place the photo inside the bevel.
-
Close and add your keychain hardware.

Add tassels if desired.

(3) Photo card
Things necessary –

marker
-
photograph

How can I do that –
-
Find a photo of your child and resize it to fit on your paper.

Print the photo and crop it to fit the photo border.

Fold the cardstock in half to create a card.

Color your child's feet and press them onto the paper.

Once dry, add your message and glue the photo head.
