The college information session will be held at the Mineral Area College (MAC) Perryville Higher Education Center on Wednesday, May 15th at 5:30 p.m. The center is located at 108 South Progress Drive in Perryville.
Anyone interested in high school students, their families, local residents, and anyone who wants to learn more about the university can participate. Topics covered include how to apply, available degree and certificate programs, dual credit and dual enrollment options, class offerings, placement tests, financial aid, A+ benefits, scholarships, and more.
Center Director Michelle Hadler and other MAC representatives will give presentations, answer questions, register students and assist new students with the admissions process.
“The transition to college can often seem difficult,” Hudler says. “We want to simplify the process for students and their families. Information Night will help students learn more about how to get started and answer questions so they can enter college with confidence. It will be a great opportunity to get involved.”
MAC Perryville Higher Education Center offers general education classes required for associate degrees. Online classes are also available.
The summer semester begins on June 3rd and the fall semester begins on August 19th. It's not too late to apply and register for summer and fall classes. Learn more and apply online at www.MineralArea.edu.
