As people across India grapple with rising temperatures, a video of six to seven monkeys swimming in a pool in a Mumbai apartment complex has grabbed the internet's attention. A video shared by user @MumbaiMarch on his X shows a “gang of monkeys” entering a swimming pool in Raheja in Mumbai's Borivali area.
The now-viral video begins with three monkeys swimming in one of two available pools. They cleverly use the side handles to get to the edge of the pool and dry off. As the video progresses, you can see more monkeys surrounding the pool. X handle shared the video and wrote, “#Monkeys are back #Raheja #swimming in #Borivali.” Enjoy #MumbaiHeat. ”

The video received over 16,000 views on the platform and several reactions from social media users. “They can already swim! Next they're going to ride kids bikes,” one user joked. “That makes sense. As long as they aren't defecating, they don't say anything bad about it, but they're far more polite than humans at any age,” another user responded.
“Wow, that looks like so much fun!” a third user wrote.
Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heatwave conditions in eastern India until May 5th and southern parts of peninsular India until May 6th. Heat wave conditions will be seen in southern parts of India such as isolated Telangana, interior Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam. Over the next 5 days. As per the IMD forecast on Wednesday, similar situation will be witnessed in Kerala, Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada in the next two days.
