ECU transfer power forward Ezra Orsal (6'9''/240) took an official visit to North Carolina State yesterday, and things are trending in the right direction for the Wolfpack, according to ON3 and 247Sports analysts. That's what it means.
ON3's Jamie Shaw submitted a prediction yesterday morning that Orsal will ultimately enroll at North Carolina State University.
247Sports' Corey Smith submitted his crystal ball prediction for Orser to run with the Wolfpack this morning.
Orser just completed his sophomore season at Greenville, where he averaged 11.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and shot 51.4 percent from the field. As a freshman, he averaged 9.8 points and 5.3 rebounds and was named to the AAC All-Freshman team.
Ausah is a consensus four-star prospect in the transfer portal, with ON3 ranking him 60th overall in the portal and 10th among power forwards.
A native of Atlanta, Orsal played his senior season of high school at Liberty Heights Athletic Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina. ON3 ranked Orser as his four-star prospect coming out of high school, his No. 94 overall player nationally and his No. 2 player in the state of North Carolina.
Orser visited Georgia Tech's Seton Hall, met with Georgetown via Zoom and had a home visit with Utah State. In addition to Orser, Arkansas' John Calipari and his staff have been in contact with Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Arizona State, West Virginia, Iowa State and St. John's. (Link)
The good news at this time is that Orsal does not have any visits scheduled after his visit to North Carolina.
Ausar has two years of eligibility remaining and one scholarship remaining at North Carolina State University.
