The Denver-based data center company also has additional plans for Dallas-Fort Worth.
Stack Infrastructure moves forward with construction of its DFW02 data center campus, which spans more than 100 acres in Lancaster.
The 220-megawatt campus, which already receives electricity from utility company Oncor with its own substation, will be approximately 1.5 million square feet. Delivery is scheduled for mid-2026.
“We continue to see steady demand for large campuses with electricity, especially in established and growing markets,” said Ty Miller, chief commercial officer at Stack Americas.
“This latest announcement, with a favorable delivery target of mid-2026, reinforces our commitment to providing certainty and scalability to our clients.”
The company's DFW01 data center campus is located in Plano. The site has 48 megawatts of capacity for future expansion.
The real estate industry predicts a number of data center announcements in the coming months as developers scramble to meet demand.
Also in Lancaster, Dallas-based Skybox Datacenters has partnered with Dallas developer Bandera Ventures on a 100-acre, approximately 1 million-square-foot data center project. It can provide up to 300 megawatts of power and will have its own substation.
