How to assemble a copper coffee table base
- If you have a 45 cm diameter tray, use a tape measure to measure the appropriate distance for the copper tubing as described above. Cut to size with a tube cutter.
- First, assemble the four legs using 22mm copper tubes. B + 10 cm + A + 23 cm + A + 3 cm + B
- Then install the four connecting pieces with tube size 15 mm (15.5 cm + C + 15.5 cm) between the legs.
- Connect these four connection joints with two 32 cm long 15 mm copper tubes.
- Glue the connecting parts, T-joints and sockets with Bison max repair adhesive.
- Please read the instructions carefully before gluing. (Please apply adhesive on one side only)
- If you want to change the color of the tray (as shown in the picture), first spray paint the tray with a metal primer, then paint the tray the color of your choice (using spray paint or a brush).
top tips
To give copper the ultimate shine, it can be polished with Brasso Copper Polish.
Alternatively, to preserve their shine, degrease the copper pipes and paint the pipes and joints with a special copper lacquer.
