Ryan, a Dallas-based global tax services and software provider, has appointed Chitranjan Sharma as chief data officer.
Sharma brings over a decade of extensive experience in building technology and data platforms, introducing innovative products, and driving data-driven cultures in capital markets.
Ravi Shrivastava, Ryan's senior vice president and chief technology and data officer, said in a statement: “We are excited to welcome Ryan to the team as he continues to evolve.”
Ryan said that in his new role, Sharma will lead the development of a global data strategy to optimize profitability and tax compliance. You will also drive best-in-class data models and practices to accelerate digital transformation at Ryan.
Previous roles at ROC360 and Credit Swiss
Prior to joining Ryan, Sharma held several leadership roles including Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director at ROC360 and Senior Head of Data and Technology at Credit Suisse. Sharma also served as an advisor to Cognino and as a consultant to the Financial Risk Group.
