The album's title track, “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys,” “So Long, London,” “LOML (Love of My Life),” and “The Alchemy” all feature Swift's long-standing relationship with a private actor in London. It is rumored that he wrote this on the subject.
The song “So Long London” is said to be her farewell song to London and Joe Alwyn. According to reports, during their relationship, and especially during the pandemic, Swift relocated her base to England for a while.
Swift and Alwyn have not yet released any statements about the album and whether it has anything to do with her latest relationship. Swift is currently dating National Football League (NFL) player Travis Kelce.
Swift previously shared a post about her album on Instagram, writing, “At this hearing, I will stand before my colleagues in the Tortured Poets Division and give you a summary of my findings. Album Tonight. Tomorrow. We will release two weeks of music videos at 8pm.” etc. (sic)”
