Oracle announced that it will work with the Singapore government to train up to 10,000 students and professionals in the latest digital technologies such as AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and data science by 2027.
The announcement was made on Wednesday at the CloudWorld Tour Singapore conference, attended by Oracle CEO Safra Catz.

Specifically, Oracle plans to offer up to 300 internships and practicums over three years to students and graduates from five polytechnics. This includes AI, generative AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data management, and autonomous databases.
Oracle also plans to provide training and certification to up to 9,700 learners in Singapore over the next three years. They can earn the new “Gen AI Professional Certification.” Oracle said the certification was designed to equip Singapore's digital professionals with advanced expertise and skills in AI technology.
