Stacey Solomon has revealed how “nervous” she was completing certain DIY tasks on Channel 4's new renovation show.
The 34-year-old was speaking to Ben Shepherd and Cat Deeley on ITV's This Morning about Stacey Solomon's Home Improvement Rescue, which began last week.
The show sees Solomon and her team rescuing homeowners who have been “left in disrepair by builders.”
The Radio Times added: “She has also improved her own building skills, mastering everything from plumbing to microcementing.”
Solomon told This Morning that despite being busy with so much work on the show, he was quite nervous to complete one particular task.

Solomon praised Aggie, the show's resident builder, for helping organize difficult tasks.
Speaking on This Morning, she explained: “So I wanted Aggie, a professional builder with all the expertise to take it to the next level, to teach me a DIY that even I was afraid of. It was fun to learn.”
“I was nervous to do it, just like plumbing that sink. I'd never done anything like that.”
Ms. Deeley chimed in, saying she did a great job, and Ms. Solomon added that she didn't think someone like her could “take advantage” of it.

She continued: “I think a lot of us think it’s impossible unless we study it and know it all, but Aggie actually teaches us how many basics there are in plumbing that you can do yourself and don’t need. To get something like a 150 pound callout.
“That's basically what this show is about, to give people that knowledge and hopefully make people feel like, 'If you don't have the money or you're afraid to bring in people and you want to do it yourself, you absolutely can do it.' It’s about empowering people.”
Stacey Solomon's Renovation Rescue airs Wednesday nights at 9pm on Channel 4 and This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV1.
