Stacey Solomon presents her new home renovation show, Stacey Solomon's Renovation Rescue, which starts tonight, April 10th at 9pm on Channel 4.
In the series, Stacey steps in to help a family whose home is left high and dry by builders in the middle of renovations.
Stacey helps each family develop a basic plan to complete the DIY task on their own. From laying bricks to basic plumbing, Stacy shows you how to transform your living space on a budget with money-saving skills and techniques.
Viewers can also expect to see presenters try to master new DIY projects, along with guidance on useful redecoration tips and tricks to try at home.
In each episode, Stacey visits aspirational properties in search of inspirational ideas for the homeowners she helps.
In the first episode, Stacey meets Eric and Caroline in Enfield. They started adding on to their 1980s bungalow. They have lost tens of thousands of pounds on building work that needs to be redone, but Stacey helps them get the project back on track, including teaching them how to make stunning oak panel partitions.
Stacey talked about her new television venture. “Renovation Rescue is all about building people's confidence in DIY. We meet a lot of people who have had bad experiences with builders, or who feel like their budget won't stretch them. .They want.
“We don't just come in and 'fix it.' We want to teach people the skills they need and prove that they can achieve their dream home even on a limited budget.”
Renovation Rescue is produced by Hello Sunshine, the production company founded by Reese Witherspoon. This will be Hello Sunshine's first UK-based series and Stacey is thrilled to be a part of it.
