Arvest Bank has donated $10,000 to the Arkansas Tech University Foundation to help build a new agricultural education building on the ATU campus in Russellville.
Shawn Bates, president of Arvest Bank Community Bank in Russellville, presented the check to Jason Geiken, ATU vice president of advancement and ATU Foundation executive director.

The ATU Agriculture Program Advisory Committee was represented by Jeff Ray and Emily Woodall.
The new ATU Agriculture Education Building will be approximately 1,980 square feet and will house welding equipment, tool storage areas, classroom space, laboratory space, and other equipment. Located on the Tech Farm, adjacent to the ATU Greenhouse and Dr. James “Jim” Collins Agriculture Classroom.
