NBC Connecticut According to reports, Cutler was driving on Interstate 91 South in Wallingford when he crashed into a guardrail near Exit 13. After he ran off the road and onto an embankment, he was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he died. He was only 41 years old.
I have never met Mr. Cutler in person, but several of my colleagues in the Northeast have. They both have nothing but great things to say about him, not only for his obvious ingenuity, but also for his kindness.
“He was just a gem of a human being,” Segal told me. “I loved the community and loved sharing my builds with everyone.”
“His ultimate goal was to drive through all 48 states with the dog in that setting,” Segal recalls.
Tributes and condolences flooded the comments section of Cutler's Instagram (@nsxtra). He had nearly 75,000 followers on this account who loved seeing his bold projects and the cool art they inspired.
This is not the type of post we normally run on this site, but we would like to remember Cutler and highlight his accomplishments in the automotive community.
