The days are getting longer, the clocks are ticking, and DIY Before They Knew Better is back. After the first series of the podcast, which featured the likes of James Acaster, Killer Mike and Remi Wolfe, there was a brief hiatus, but now we're back with none other than the self-proclaimed world-famous Irish pop star, C.M.A.T. We are launching the second installment of our brilliant new series.
Just before she hit the news for her cheeky Blitz outfit, we spoke to the former DIY cover star about producing a Paul McCartney cartoon, fangirling at Bombay Bicycle Club, Coco Chanel and more , told frankly ridiculous stories about her life before finding fame. Halloween costume.
“There was an ongoing thing where I would draw a cartoon every week for me and my four followers that consisted of a photo of Paul McCartney,” CMAT shared during the episode. “I pasted together pictures of him and wrote captions that came out of his mouth. At one point there was a conversation between Paul and Gordon Ramsay about vegetarianism. Because I was a vegetarian. As you can imagine, it didn't go very well in Dunboyne, Co. Meath.”
