Is Google “broken”?
According to a man named Jason Purgin, the answer to that question is a resounding “YES.”
Pargin posted a video on TikTok in which he told viewers why he thinks Google has declined and is no longer the same.
He said he was looking into why his phone wasn't able to log into the correct WiFi network, so he decided to use Google to find the answer.
Pargin added that the first page he clicked on after a Google search took him to a page that made no sense on his phone. I also found out that his web page is from his 12 years ago and is useless anyway.
Pargin visited two more websites without success.
The fourth page he clicked on was an article titled “How to prioritize Wi-Fi networks on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac,” which he thought would work.
But it didn't end there…
He said he had to scroll through ads and paragraphs before the page said there was nothing he could do to fix the problem.
“It's similar to when you were in elementary school and you were told you had to write 500 words on a topic and you kept saying the same thing over and over,” Purgin said.
“All your job is to keep people on the page and keep these ad units loading,” he said of the people who write for the website.
According to Pargin, the last sentence on the page reads, “Unfortunately, Apple has not provided any further explanation of how Wi-Fi priority works on the iPhone, so we are unable to provide any further information on this subject. “No information available,” it said.
He also said he quit after 20 years of writing for online pages because “everything turned out like this… Google's users are being tricked into posting websites, whether or not that's what they're looking for.” The reason was “a way to encourage them to come.''
Purgin added: “Your job was purely to try to pollute this algorithm, rather than create something that would inform people.”
Let's see what he said.
