Spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, who underwent emergency brain surgery at a private hospital in Delhi on Sunday, has been flooded with messages wishing him a speedy recovery from all quarters. A senior doctor at Delhi's Indraprastha Apollo Hospital said on Wednesday that he had suffered a “life-threatening” hemorrhage inside his skull but was now recovering well.
Sadhguru's daughter Radhe Jaggi also shared an update about her father's health.
“For those asking, Sadhguru is doing well and recovering quickly,” Radhe Jaggi wrote on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday.
Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, founder of Coimbatore-based Isha Foundation, shared the video from his hospital bed.
“The neurosurgeons at Apollo Hospital cut open my skull to try to find something, but they couldn't find anything. It was completely empty. So they gave up and repaired it. I'm here. I have a repaired skull in Delhi, but there was no brain damage,'' Jaggi Vasudev said. , the 66-year-old said in a video posted to his own Instagram account.

Sadhguru was taken off the ventilator after the surgery, the hospital said, adding that he has shown steady progress and his vital indicators are improving.
According to the hospital, the spiritual leader had been suffering from severe headaches for the past four weeks.
“Despite the intensity of the pain, he continued with his normal daily life and social activities and even performed Maha Shivaratri functions on March 8. Ignoring all the pain, he attended all the gatherings. '' said Dr. Vinit Suri, senior consultant neurologist at the hospital. he said in the video.
But Sadhguru's headaches worsened by March 15, when he consulted Dr. Suri over the phone.
Suri immediately suspected a subdural hematoma and recommended an emergency MRI scan.
The spiritual leader underwent an MRI scan of his brain on the same day, which revealed that he had massive bleeding in his skull.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among those who wished him a speedy recovery.
“I spoke to @SadhguruJV Ji and wished him good health and speedy recovery,” PM Modi said in a post on X on Wednesday.
In response to the Prime Minister's plea, Sadhguru replied, “Dear Pradhan Mantriji, I should not worry about you. Overwhelmed, I am on my way to recovery. Dhanyavad (thank you).” ”
