The timing of the system's rollout is still in flux, but the latest forecast is for it to be rolled out in the late afternoon.
“The snow could cause some disruption to the commute Thursday night and could continue into Friday morning,” meteorologist Joseph Dames said.
Once the system lifts Friday morning, any remaining snow will stick to the ground due to the cold. Forecasts are subject to change, but right now this system could bring 1 to 3 inches of snow.
