DIY enthusiasts have shown off their stunning bathroom makeovers by getting creative.
He replicated an anthropological mirror he bought at Home Depot for a reasonable price, and now his bathroom looks larger.
TikToker Michael Mazza (@earth.to.mike) documented his home improvement moments.
Michael said he initially found the bathroom to be “bland”, but has since transformed it into a bespoke room with “personality”.
DIY enthusiasts started by adding molding to the bathroom.
He used painter's tape for the outline and then nailed the parts he bought at Home Depot to the wall.
Michael wasn't sure what color he wanted to use, so he picked a bunch of samples from the hardware store and painted them on the wall.
But he didn't choose the color until he fixed the bathroom lights.
In the end, he decided to use the darkest green color, added black pigment to it and also painted the ceiling.
Michael said he is “fully committed” to the project.
The last thing Michael fixed in the bathroom was the mirror.
He was inspired by anthropological mirrors that sell for hundreds of dollars.
So he bought some trim at a hardware store and rubbed it with gold rub and buff.
The one with metallic shine retails for $6.98.
The last step was to glue it to the mirror.
People in the comments section loved what Michael pulled off.
“So you've turned your bathroom into a Slytherin bathroom,” one person said, referring to the Hogwarts house from Harry Potter.
“Looks so much bigger than before,” another person wrote. “I love it.”
A third posted: “Literally thought there was no way you could save that toilet but you did it.”
“Now you get a gentlemen's club with your old money… very well done,” commented a fourth man.
“I'm obsessed with green things so this is literally a terrible dream,” added a fifth. “It's literally the perfect shade.”
