Women and men of a certain age suffer from fine lines when the body's natural stores of collagen begin to decline. Although this process is inevitable, the rate of its progression can be reduced with appropriate lifestyle interventions.
Vicki DeRosa, a 59-year-old beauty influencer, claims that applying yogurt directly to her face has helped her slow down aging and maintain her radiant glow.
“I've found this to be one of the best things you can do for your face to combat acne scars, wrinkles, dark circles, inflammation, brighten your face, and prevent aging,” she declared in the clip.
“If you want to find a way to actually get rid of fine lines or get rid of dark circles under your eyes, this is incredibly effective. [or] When I woke up and was sunburned. ”

For best results, cleanse your skin and leave the yogurt in a thick layer for 10-15 minutes, then remove with warm water.
“If you can do a yogurt mask once a day or two or three times a week, the lactic acid and zinc will do wonders for your skin,” says DeRosa.
“It's easy and cheap,” the content creator continued. “It saves money. You don't have to go to the store and buy different types of masks.
“Full-fat yogurt is great for your skin. So, buy a big container of yogurt and keep it in the fridge two or three times a week when you lie down and listen to music or meditate.
“Apply it to your face. You'll be amazed at the results after a few weeks.”
According to Healthline, there are only a handful of scientifically supported claims about the benefits of yogurt, including its purported moisturizing properties.
According to in vitro and in vivo studies dating back to 2011, there is evidence that applying yogurt to your face can lock moisture into your skin.
“The same 2011 study also suggests that yogurt masks may brighten skin,” Healthline explains.
Yogurt's effect on skin tone was investigated in a 2015 study published in the International Society of Women's Dermatology, which attributed the effect to the probiotics found in dairy products.
As we age, our skin also suffers from a loss of elasticity, and a 2011 study found that yogurt may help prevent this.
