ARVESTVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Arvest has announced new bilingual financial education resources aimed at helping consumers build financial confidence, according to a news release.
The resource, called EmpowerED, is free to anyone looking to improve their financial health, made possible by Arvest and Blackbaud's relationship with EVERFI, according to the release.
EmpowerED is designed to give consumers the personalized knowledge they need to make financial decisions.
Hillis Schild, Executive Director of Arvest Opportunity Fund, said: “Providing financial education, whether through our new online platform or through in-person workshops, has a real impact on people's finances and lives. There is a possibility that it will be given.”
Arvest Opportunity Fund is a non-bank wholly owned subsidiary of Arvest. Its mission is to invest in people through finance and education.
EmpowerED users will be guided through interactive lessons that are most relevant to them, according to the release. Each area offers his 3-6 minute modules to enhance your knowledge on the topic.
We provide financial education on topics such as:
- Basics of banking
- fund management
- Mortgage and home ownership
- retirement and investment
- business banking
“Understanding your finances and making sound financial decisions is the key to a strong future, but many people wonder where they can turn to get the information they need in an easily digestible and understandable way.
