Introduced in 2011 (originally known as the Periodic Table of SEO Ranking Factors), the Periodic Table of SEO Factors has now been updated to 2024.

interaction. All previous editions of the SEO Periodic Table have been released in PDF format. Now, things have changed and you can click on all the different elements and understand why they are important.
What has changed? The 2024 SEO Periodic Table removes many of the enhancements made in 2021. Niche groups (Local, News, and Ecommerce SEO) were removed to eliminate redundancy and restore the original vision of the periodic table. In other words, the big picture, the universality, the key fundamentals of SEO.
The Toxins group was also removed in the 2024 update. This means that if you're really focused on comprehensive best practices listed on the SEO periodic table, you shouldn't do things that could get you into trouble and lead to serious algorithm downgrades and manual actions. Because it's not.
Other changes include two groups that have been renamed.
