A BEAUTY fan who advocates a natural approach to skincare shares her secret to her 60-year-old mother's youthful skin.
The main ingredient is the humble vegetable, but her mother, who looks like she's in her 30s, is helping turn back the clock.
Wetaba Recipes (@wetaba51) is now following her mother's lead and adopting the same skin regime.
She calls it “beet serum” in her post.
Wetaba shares her love for “Natural Remedy Tips and DIY Recipes” on TikTok.
She has 159,000 followers and regularly shares her skin, teeth, and hair treatments.
But she makes a bold claim in this video.
“This DIY skin spray recipe will rid your face of dirt for years,” she said.
“Natural anti-aging remedies. Beetroot face serum,” she added.
“You'll love this recipe,” she said of the bright red mixture.

DIY beetroot face serum
TikTok user Wetaba Recipes shared beetroot face serum, a natural remedy for anti-aging. Her 60-year-old mother swears by it, but she looks like she's in her 30s.

- 1 beet
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon rose water
Method:
- Wash, peel and chop the beets
- grate the beets
- filter the juice
