A streetcar crash at Universal Studios Hollywood left 15 people injured Saturday night.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, authorities were called to the theme park around 9:13 p.m.
Emergency crews found 15 people injured at the scene after the accident involving a Studio Tour tram.
Most were found with minor injuries, but at least one person was found with serious injuries, authorities said. They were all taken to a local hospital for treatment.
It is unclear what caused the streetcar collision or whether other vehicles were involved.
The Studio Tour is one of the theme park's most popular attractions, taking passengers on a one-hour backlot tour of some of the most iconic movie sets in Hollywood history.
Throughout the tour, guests will experience several interactive elements including animatronics, 3D motion, a sound stage with special effects, and more.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of Studio Tour, which debuted in 1964.
A Universal Studios spokesperson issued the following statement to KTLA:
“The Los Angeles County Fire Department has confirmed that there was a tram accident at a theme park tonight that resulted in multiple minor injuries. We are working to support our guests and understand the circumstances that led to the accident.”
