Benny said that the total amount of waste buried in all waste dumps in Yogyakarta City could reach 1,000 tons and must be removed.
“Look at how many piles there are in all the warehouses in the city. Up to about 1,000 tons, and they are currently stuck around the warehouses,” he said.
Benny said that various efforts to reduce the amount of waste will continue to the fullest until travelers move away from DIY.
