The creative-minded woman purchased a 53-foot trailer with the original intention of using it as a storage unit, but now she has new plans.
She revealed that she is converting it into a small house, trading the city life for tranquility.
Ella Harmony Woods (@elleharmonywoods) is ready to leave city life behind and embrace sustainable living.
She told viewers about her future unconventional tiny home in a TikTok video before her family began renovations.
“Come with me as I turn this 53-foot semi-truck trailer into a house on wheels,” Ella said, standing outside the large vehicle.
They bought the trailer more than six months ago and planned to use it as a storage unit, but “things changed,” he said.
“We decided to follow our dream of moving to a sustainable community. This will be our home,” she explained.
Ella gave a detailed tour and showed us the location of the room and its corresponding door.
As she walked up the main staircase, she said that was the door that would be used the most.
As the camera panned inside, it was packed with miscellaneous items, which is not surprising considering it was used as a storage unit.
Floor-to-ceiling shelves were filled with boxes, documents, and other personal items.
“The back half of the trailer will be filled with our belongings as we drive across the country,” she explained.
Ella and her family plan to drive around the country in the trailer while converting it into their own living space.
She also panned around the cluttered space that “believe it or not” would become the kitchen.
Finally, she showed me the back corner where there was already a wall and a door-sized hole cut out for what would be the bedroom.
Ella continues to post the progress of her DIY projects on her TikTok channel while living on a rural farm.
“I can't wait to show you all our beautiful land!” she wrote in the video's caption.
