Since 2021, a total of 383 police incidents have been reported at UB's on-campus housing. The Governor's Complex, where about 800 students live, accounted for 47 incidents (12.2% of the total). The Ellicott Complex is home to approximately 3,200 students and had 208 incidents (54% of the total).
UB is currently 17 different on-campus residencesinclude:

“'Pending Investigation' is a term assigned to a case (for case management purposes) to indicate that solvable elements exist,” UPD Deputy Chief Karl Lundin said in an email. spectrum. “While we are still working on some cases, they remain pending investigation (some crimes take a significant amount of time to solve).”
