Following their emotional journey on “Exchange 3,” Lee Joo Won and Lee Seo Kyung have repaired their relationship, a fact Lee Joo Won himself revealed during a candid Q&A with fans on July 17. In response to curiosity surrounding their situation since the show ended, Lee Joo Won shared some insight into their reconciliation process.
As reported by AllKpop, “After filming was over, we went home and cleared up the misunderstanding. We went to a yakiniku restaurant that we always went to together and talked,” Lee Joo Won confessed. Looking back on their time apart during the show's broadcast, he admitted, “We used to rely on each other, but a lot of things happened while filming the show and misunderstandings arose, so there was a time when we grew apart. But eventually, we see each other more often now and try to help each other out when we can, and we're doing it cautiously.”
He emphasized that their relationship had its ups and downs, but was optimistic about its current state: “We've had a lot of ups and downs, but we see each other with good feelings. The three weeks we spent on the show weren't everything. We learned a lot after the show ended, and we reflected on our mistakes. I hope everyone will support us,” he added.
Their reconciliation joins the growing list of couples who have reunited on “Exchange 3.” Most notably, couples like Lee Yoo-jung and Choi Chang-jin, and Seo Min-hyun and Gong Sang-jung also rekindled their relationships during or after the show's end. Most recently, Son Da-hye and Seo Dong-jin also announced their new relationship on the Fourth of July, making it another heartwarming reunion series to come out of the reality show.
